Hi , im new to the xbox flashing scene and had a few questions regarding jungle flasher. Ok.. i have jungle flasher 1.66b with all the other stuff i need such as the via card , ck3 kit , probe ,etc , etc. I have flashed a samsung and a ben q both with 1.6 and both worked fine, the problems i have encountered have been with lite on 74850c drives...did the 1 st eventually but the second i never managed to sort so passed it to somebody else. When in jungle flasher after i have inserted the probe and got the 6 identical line readings ii then press DVDkey 32. It asks me if i want to load the new firmware automatically i click yes but then it says i cant do it. I have the latest one there for it the 1.6 lite on repack but nothing. But it did do it automatically for the other mentioned drives. So when i go into the firmware folder and click on it manually as soon as i click it jungle flasher just shuts down in an instant....what have i done wrong. Can anybody help me out...many thanks in advance
i'm sure that the lite-on was the only file you had to rename or it's the only one i've ever came across. I think it had something to do with an early release of lite-on driver being superceeded???? but don't quote me lol :)
