Hey guys. I was wondering if its possible for me to use this Activate ISO on my flashed Xbox. I have a Lite-On drive & its flashed with i-xtreme 1.51 - any help would be REALLY appreciated.
I thought I read somewhere that if you have 1.51 it will read wave 4 cause it doesn't check video partitions or something, and that 1.6 was strict for wave 3. So I am guessing 1.61 will work the same as 1.51 and that 1.7 will be strict for wave 4 games
The only 1.51 that will work for wave 4 right now is Hitachi. And actually, that one works without the disc. Go figure.
1.51 does check video partitions and allows for wave 1, 2 or 3. Since wave 4 didn't exist at the time, it didn't allow for that deviation.
1.61 will probably allow any video partition info as a quick fix.
1.7 will probably allow for wave 1, 2, 3, or 4... and when wave 5 comes out we will need to go back to 1.61 or up to 1.71. Or just use the disc again:)
