I just bought a new UMD game, Disgaea 2. It contained a 5.55 version update. I didn't install the 5.55 version update but my pesky housemates did it. It was intended to be installed to another PSP. Can I still downgrade it to its original firmware? I think it was 4.01. My motherboard is TA-088v3 and I don't have the "magic" mem stick and Pandora battery.

after installing, it still has the CFWenabler by Xenogears & Becus25, and the TIF images for PSP slim. I'm out of leads on where should I start. Sorry for the noob question. I think the mod for TA-088v3 mobos is still not out. can I still revert it back to 4.01 or 5.03 MHU?

I have the pandora battery. All I need is a MMS.

My bad, I really can't remeber my motherboard. I've read some guides on how to identify your motherboard. And I ran into this one and made me confused.

http://www.pspoverhaul.com/motherboard.html

it mentioned here that your PSP has a TA-088v3 mobo if the serial no. starts with "AB02". but mine has HExxxxxxx. I don't have any spare mem stick for its procedures.

it seems that someone had installed a CFW with a 4.xx or something, I really can't remember. I got confused when I read that procedure.

So I'm stuck with another problem here. wether if I can hack and downgrade my PSP.
