Does anyone have the perfect settings for this? I have played around with it but I seem to be missing the exact measurements to cover the whole disc. I am often left with a white border around the edge of the dvd. What software is best and what settings are perfect for an ideal print?

I print straight on to Verbatim printable discs. Here's the settings I use for that (outer diameter/inner diameter): -

Verbatim MKM-001 (2.4X) - 119mm/35mm
Verbatim MKM-003 (8X) - 119mm/19mm

The older 2.4X printables have a clear ring around the inner hole that's not printable, hence the 35mm setting instead of 19mm.

Those settings will print ever so slightly on to the non-printable area of the disc, but you can wipe that off with a bit of tissue paper. I'd rather do that than have thin white rings where it hasn't printed quite far enough.

BTW, avoid using labels if possible and get printable discs and a printer that can print directly on to them. It's not only quicker and neater, you don't get issues with the edge of the label peeling off or the label not being quite central and affecting the balance of the disc.
