So i have seen the 360 labtop and i was very intrigued. Is it possible and easier to be able to do this with a desktop. i have spare 360 parts and would love to put a 360 in my desktop case considering it has lots of room. My computer is a quad core with a 9800 gt so specs are far above xbox 360's if that is a problem. Any ideas would be awesome

It's just a case mod, nothing more. The actual hardware is exactly the same.

So yes, you could put it into your desktop case... but what would the point be?

I realize i can put a xbox in my computer, but i mean can i just run a sata cable to the xbox the same way i do when i flash it and run xbox games from there. Otherwise would i need to put the xbox mobo in there just without the casing to make it work and have the 360 run through my desktop like a normal game would? Its a little hard to explain what i want to do im sorry for the dumbass explaination. In a perfect world i could run the xbox dvd drive like i would a normal dvd drive in my computer, that's what i want to know if that is possible

Yeah, that's possible. As long as you get a longer power and SATA cable.

You must consider the power cord, as well.

Yeah. Just the same way you can plug and play your 360 in your entertainment cabinet. As long as all of the hardware is connected, it will work. You are just putting the exact same 360 into a different case.
