Sorry if this was addressed i was just slightly confused while reading all this new wave 4 info.
If you run a wave 4 game through ABGX (current version) and it passes stealth you'll be ok if you use the one shot boot to play online? As far as i could understand it's just like using the wave 3 game that passes stealth correct?
So the only update that the new firmware would include is just a way around using the one shot boot right?
Also what do you have to look out for while ABGX is checking the game, as far as CRC, and other info goes, to ensure someone didn't patch a wave 4 to a wave 3?
Sorry for the noob questions i just wanted to be as safe as possible while playing wave 4 backups...Thank you!
Basically when the 1.61 firmware is released, it saves the trouble of having to do a swap method to play new games that are confirmed Wave 4. And hopefully when they come out with an updated ABGX, it will show more info about Wave 4 discs.

abgx360 in its current form, can still stealth check wave 4 ISOs. If they verify, then you're as safe as you would be with a wave 1, 2 or 3 game. It says that on the abgx360 site if you look: -
Quote:Once a Wave4 title is verified, abgx360 will still download the .ini from the database and fully check out the image. If the image matches and the game is verified, then it has also passed the stealth checks and thus it is as safe to play as any wave3 or wave2 game.
Because it can't recognise the wave 4 partition, it means that if you checked an ISO where the video partition was missing, or where the video partition was corrupt or had been patched to an earlier wave, abgx360 would not be able to autofix it. If that was the case though, it would also fail verification, so you'd know it wasn't safe to play. As long as you are waiting for games to verify, you're as safe as you have been with earlier waves.
