well i have my xbox modded and i was just wondering what i should do about this update. it says "to proceed, security and program updates are required". so i dont want to do it and my xbox be banned since i cant get another one right now..so please let me know what to do

The update is fine and you won't be banned. The update adds support for WPA2 with the wireless adapter.

I don't get these threads.
You either a) Don't update and don't play live [or] b) Update with the possibility of getting banned.
Get update and get it over with. If you get banned, you was going to get banned anyway..

well money is a bit tight right now, so id rather play without xbl than not play at all..but xerofyre, is your xbox modded?

Huh? Even if you're banned your Xbox still works. You just can't acess Live anymore.
Xbox 360: Slim untouched with a faked 320 GB harddrive for XBL, phat with LT 3.0, played Halo early, so going on live would be an instand ban, also with a faked 320 GB harddrive
PS3: Untouched 160 GB Slim, 60 GB Fat with latest Rogero and 160 GB internal harddrive.
PSVita: hardly ever play it
GameCube: Black with a Viper chip installed. With gameboy player. Trying to get a Wavebird controller.

yes, with ixtreme 1.6, i'm having no problems at all, just do it

ook cool..well i heard wrong then because i heard that if you get caught with a modded xbox, you cant use that xbox..like something with the serial number..but i guess not

no it's only XBL that's affected
they can't stop you from playing games offline

well i did the update and everything is good...i read on yahoo tho that november they are doin some big update which is lookin for modded xboxs and its gonna add like facebook and twitter to xbl...
