do you think it would be ok to still use jungle flasher to install 1.61 if i just rename the 1.61 firmware to 1.6 firmware file name and let auto install do its thing?

That might work, but why not just manually select it? Is manual select not working?

no i just have always used auto so never done it manually. but i guess its time to learn huh.

I have never used the autoload feature. Would rather do it myself and know I am getting the proper hacked firmware.

To do this do as qwert99 said and select add target firmware button. Then browse to the hacked firmware you want to load.

Theres a new JF ( 50 ) that's out now to accommodate that. If you don't want to update, just manual pick it for now. The word on lite ons is until C4 decides to release it its not getting released. My fellow lite oners and i will be using this 1 layers dual layer for the foreseeable while im sure.

They are most likely waiting until they finish all liteon revisions before 1.61 for liteon's is released.
