I think they may have decided to leave before they get busted and the silly season would have started for them. Jump before being pushed.

I'd have to say it would be that combined with the growth of the open sourse community over the past few years.

Yeah i too think that open source is one of the biggest reasons why many people have stopped using crackked/pirated software.. Most basic tools you need you can get for free and you dont have to download photoshop just because you want to edit your pictures little bit.

Yeahhhh, cracking tiny apps and other junk don't make you exactly 'prolific'. That be saying all the guys who ripped anime for the hell of it are prolific because they 100 dvds.
