Chances are that if youve been flagged, you are already banned. There is really no hiding from it now. Only way to check is to get online. Just do it with retails or Verified rips
well i've been playing every day up until last night when i heard about this...all burned games too...so i mean do you guys think they can still flag me or what?
Well then looks like they missed you, or youve been doing everything not to get banned. I dont think the wave is over though. Id keep playing as you always have. If you want to feel abit safer, verify your back ups that youve already been playing.

Well just my 2 cents but everyonbe I know who had a system for a while then got it modded has been banned. It would not be hard for them to cross check when you first got on live with your new console then when the ban wave hits they run a check again and see that you have the same serial # for the console yet your firmaware has changed. Its actually quite simple to do. Its there hardware and they have the software to see it. Sometimes things are more cut and dry and not so complex.
Maybe this will stop the speculation. I have a modded console which was never on live until after I modded it. My brother is the same way. I'm not saying I am safe because no one is but I seem to have survived so far. I think this has alot to do with it. If you get a new system just mod it before you even plug it in and you should be better off. Also they will not upgrade you firmware when you are on live. The reason why is because if you account storms and power outages and so forth they would have alot of consoles to fix because of bad flashes due to the power going out during a flash.
Its just my opinion as to why I have not been banned.

Sorry. ixtreme all versions is/are detectable or their behavior is detectable therefore hence a new FW is being worked on. For those with ixtreme I would advice no further use of 360 until this firmware is released. Until then, god bless 360scene. No technical data was being as to WHY its being detected all of a sudden.

Pretty much so. The problem is when did MS start detecting the modified firmware, It could've been months ago & hit everyone with this ban wave from a flagged console. I guess with this we can say pretty much everyone now will get banned until a new firmware is released. However, if you system was already flagged then you're not gonna be safe anyhow.
I don't know how much trust we can put into iXtreme anymore really. I do trust c4eva but MS has done their homework for sure. It's gonna be a real challenge for c4eva to win this fight.

I am finding quotes elsewhere on the web, attributed to c4eva, that all 3 of his test consoles were banned at the same time and therefore MS must be able to detect firmware. I can't find verification of this, so I don't know how true it is. Anyone have further info?

yep I got banned today 10 november just when call of duty comes out.
Now the newest games i was playing was dirt 2 and forza motor sports 3.
Im thinking the other day I was playing dirt 2 it said clean disc I think that could of let it off. so then I burnt another copy and installed to hard drive. dunno maybe something to do with that?
All my games I have ripped myself none been downloaded or before the release date?
anyone else got banned today??
So Im going to trade my xbox or something will I be able to use my same account or make a new one?

Been banned too on ixtreme 1.6 however what i would like to know is what actually gets banned? i.e. is it the hard drive, gamertag or console?

does anyone know when the update for ABGX for call of duty modern warefare 2?? if I rip the copy straight from disc it should be fine ay. my other xbox it had 1.51 Ixtreme firmware. it sounds like this is a mega ban wave way bigger then last year
