There's no need to use autofix with your own rips unless the stealth is either uncertain or fails, so I would set autofix to either level 1 or level 2, but definitely not level 3.

Absolutely. The files uploaded to the abgx360 database are uploaded by total strangers and you're only trusting those files based on faith. Mistakes have occurred before and they'll more than likely occur again, so ripping your own games is always better.

so "FOR ME" using level 2 is a better solution than setting to level 3 and verifying with the online database? also would is your opinion on the check fix video padding option?

abgx360 already has decent default settings. If you're downloading games then all you need to do is change autofix to level 3. If you're ripping your own games you might want to set autofix to level 1, or leave it as it is at level 2. You don't need to change the video padding setting, the angle setting, splitvid, or any of that stuff if you're using a version of iXtreme newer than 1.4. That's why those things aren't checked by default.

If you set autofix to level 3 then abgx360 will replace the stealth files ripped from your original with the ones in the database (assuming they don't match anyway) and the ones from your original are more trustworthy. You would only need to use that setting if you don't know the source of the rip (e.g. with downloaded games).

If you use level 2, it will only autofix if the stealth check is uncertain or fails and verification fails. That's probably the setting I would use, because if you use level 1, it will only autofix if stealth fails - stealth could be uncertain and it still won't autofix and I'm not sure that that's the best setting, so for you personally I would use level 2 and leave all of the other settings alone.

So is there a legit reason for AGBX to autopatch your own rips from a Kreon drive ? Cuz I've seen it happen. And the info ABGX gets is from random strangers I read it on some other thread don't know if it's true but if that's case what would stop MS from uploading invalid info to flag people ?

To be fair, there's really only been one time that it was bad, and that was with UFC and Red Faction.

The people that update the database are trusted uploaders. Not anyone can just add files to it. I trust everything from abgx.

With that being said, I also agree that ripping your own games is the BEST source. I would set autofix to level 2, not three if you ripped the iso.

Ripping a game is as safe as you can get.
