XP Wont recognize my ms28 drive.

Hi there,Been stalking these fourms for quite a while now, finnaly had the courage to join.I bought my xbox premodded and now
I want to update to 1.6.Anyways,My rig won't recognize my ms28 drive. I have already installed the driver for the via and all that good stuff, but when I open jungleflasher, it wont even recognize it.
I have a via vt6421 chipset installed, and its my sata is in the primary port. Some times when I turn on the xbox, device manager says the via card "cannot start" or something along those lines.Please help,
trying to do this for my boy. He's asked me to do it for his birthday(monday) and I want to surprise him,

You will need to remove the VIA driver:

1. Disable VIA card in Device Manager.
2. Go to C:\WINDOWS\System32\drivers and remove "viamraid.sys" or "vsmraid.sys".
3. Re-enable VIA card in Device Manager.
4. Re-Boot PC.

Once you do that, you should be able to get the drive detected.

It still won't recognize the drive.
It can see all the via ports, but nothing comes up.
Am I supposed to have both the pci and the slave conected?
