Hi guys, Just as the title suggests, I am having trouble gettin a Lite On spoofed as a BenQ into vendor mode. I am using Jungleflasher and it is recognising the drive as a BenQ (although it doesnt say that it is spoofed at this point). I am getting as far as doing the half open tray and then JF asks me to power the drive off and then on within 1 sec but I dont get any flash or chip properties and just keep getting ........................the dots.

Any help much appreciated.

I forgot to add that I dont hold the original firmware as it is a friends and he had it originally flashed elsewhere.

Try to do it a little quicker or a little slower. I have noticed sometimes the time may very before you actually hit the spot that will give you good chip properties. Sometimes I have to do it 3 to 4 times before I actually get them.

your in luck i just spoof a lite on 74850c to benq just a few mins ago

make sure you got your dummy bin from the lite on

first get your tray in half way mode the start jungleflash
then head over to mtk flash
If it is a stock drive you will need to click the benq unlock command.
- If it is a previously flashed drive just click Intro device ID

Once your drive has responded it should report back as in vendor mode!
- Click on Read and save the file as BENOFW.BIN (or dummy.bin
or click on dummy to get the key

now select a benq firmware and flash it by write
Click on Outro ATA reset and disconnect your drive

do it again by hooking up the drive

the say no to auto load
in firmware tab select the liteon firmware then under neath in target select the benq firmware
select spoof check the key and other stuff then go over to
mtk and select write wait for it to finish
then select outro reset and its done
