What would be the symptoms of Xbox 360 drive problems?

1.) doesnt work
2.) smells like its on fire
3.) it is on fire
4.) game freezes and/or constantly getting an error message saying dirty disc, unable to read disc...blah blah

5.) The disc's are repeatedly scratched
6.) The drive can stop ejecting
