Burned games show up as dvd movie on xbox360

Burned Lipz number one hits twice now. Both copies show up as dvd´s with the green xbox 360logo, and when i move on the controller it shows the dvd menu.
Anyone got an idea whats going on here`?
My liteon is flashed with the newest version.

Media type you are using? Speed? Where'd you get the game? Did you download it or rip it yourself? Did you run it through ABGX360 before you burned it?

verbatim dvd + r dl , burns at 2.5. game go trough abgx without any problems.
tried with the activation iso first but still shows up as a dvd movie. makes no sense?

Do you see all that yellow text? Yeah that would mean it's a problem.
You need to use the activate.iso one shot booth method in order to get the game to launch

tryed the activation iso. tells me to insert the disc into a xbox. pulls it out. it goes back to the dashboard, i insert the disc. it does the same.. fucking aayy.

Im Having the same problem and it has just recently come up. All my old games still work fine but anything new just hangs on the xbox 360 white logo screen, as far as im concerned everything is being done the same using memx/verbatim dvd+r dl burning at 2.4 with img burn not issues log shows everything went well. Is there something I need to do with newer games or could it have to do with the new 360 dashboard update?

liteon with 1.6.
Burned borderlands and it works perfectly. But thats allso wave 3 right?.
4days since i got it firmware hacked for the first time. this realy annoy me :(

borderlands is wave 3,all new games coming out will be wave 4,upgrade to 1.6 liteon or 1.61 sam or benq and have boot disc to play new wave games

I just downloaded Left 4 dead 2 from piratebay, and I installed the new dashboard update. My 360 isn't recognizing it as a game, it just says "Play DVD" on my dashboard.
I've burned games before using winrar to unpack, imgburn to burn and it has so far been working fine. I tried burning this game twice, and its the same DVD error.
Can someone who speaks noob and can break down some troubleshooting steps please help me out? I'm not real tech savvy, so I kinda need step by step, like you were writing it for a retard.
