Hi, I just wondered if anyone can help me with a wii that was given to me by a friend,

first of all it is a version 3.1E when i turn it on all i get is a blank screen and green light, i purchased savemii and connected it to the wii which showed 3.1E then i inserted a games disk which upgraded it to 3.3E.

But when i remove the savemii and performed a reboot it still shows a blank screen.
Can anyone tell is there another way to restore the system menu
do i need to use some recovery disk to restore it.
i have tried to google this but with no luck.
also the wii has a wiikey modchip installed.

do a search for wii universal unbrick disc. i got it from wii hacks..but you can also get it using a torrent site such as piratebay. I dont know if that will fix it but look on you tube...sounds like you dont have a low level brick so you probaly can fix it. Go to youtube and search savemii brick wii and i bet you find something.

I have a copy of universal unbrick disc v2 from wii hacks.com but when i run it with savemii it will start to read and then stop i also tried the nintendo offical wii backup disk v1.31 burnt on a dvd-r you can here the disc spinning but i get nothing on the screen just the version number 3.3E.

i also tried both these disks on a good working console version 3.3E (wiikey 2)with savemii and still get the same thing.

so iam at a lose why they wont boot i have tried burning them with img burn and also nero at 2,4,6 speeds tried other media but still the same. i have burnt over 10 disks and i am still at a lose why this is happening.

Is there any other program i can use that might fix this.
