i was plaing with a guy who said he had hacks for cod 5 that made every ones names show over there heads all the time even the enemy by hooking hes pc up to his router and running the hack on the pc i just want to know if there is such a thing

That guy is a loser. I don't think there is such a hack, he was just attempting to increase his the size of his e-penis.

I know it was possible on the PS3. Or at least it use to be. Updates may have taken care of that by now.

The ps3 version has the UFO glitch which is the console version of no-clipping around the map.

As far as the 360 goes there is no such hack.

The only way I could see this hack being possible would be if they used a separate TV or monitor connected to the PC, in addition to the TV or monitor connected to the 360. They could then use the PC's monitor to display a map with opponent locations/health/etc on it.

Possible, but I have no idea if it has been done on the 360 or PS3. It has certainly been done in online PC games.

It was done on the ps3 through editing the gamesave. Unlike the 360, Sony didn't have them completely locked down. There's a thread about it over in the PS3 forum here on AD.

I suppose it is possible if they modified the game disc itself, or the information that was stored in RAM memory. That's how you would do it on a PC. I just figured those things were on lockdown with the 360. /shrug

no me and and a freind did that theres a way u edit the save file to get hacks and stuff i dont remember if they work online thoug
