a friend of got a black chours box the other day and has all his channels back but 2 things he is livin in a cable area of cork but had to get an ariel up on his roof and he payed 400 for this and was told it would last for 18months or so would it be worth gettin in ?????

are you mad he must have money to burn
satandcable or skywonder can supply you all the equipment you need for less than half that and where is this 18 months thing coming from i think somebody is trying to pull the wool over his eyes or is it too late.........

sorry donalz I am confused now, has he got a dish up on the roof? or a MMDS ariel? If he has a MMDS aerial then its cable and not Sat your friend has and I think I know what has been done, if you can confirm which is which

if he has a MMDS aerial on his roof, yer man sold him a the MMDS aerial and convertor and a BOX T and pointed it at a MMDS transmitter and the 18 month gaurentee is as useful as tits on a bull, no one can gaurentee any cable box for 18 months
Now,
He sold him a dish and a patched box for 400 notes and put it up for him, thats not to bad

so he gave him a MMDS aerial then with a T variant box, he robbed em mate and robbed royally
look here for a box, aerial, converter and whats needed, in fact this comes with the aerial

dvb-t box will do same thing as glitched card and subbed box
Whoever sold it probably paid nothing for the box and card, in this case he's been even more fleeced
