Best option / modchip to load games via USB

Hi Folks,

I've got a soft modded wii using the homebrew hack and it seems hard work and confusing keep updating ios etc

Is there a simplier way using a modchip so I can either just burn games and play them without having to worry about what version system software my wii has installed or ideally just boot them from a USB disk?

If I install a wasabi chip or similar do I need to keep messing about with updates?

Modchips dont allow USB loading, they are for disk loading only.

Ahh I see.

Burning disks isn't an issue really. So if I install a wasabi dx or drivekey do I need to keep messing about with IOS and CIOS etc?

I'm on 3.2E system software at the mo so would that cause any issues?
