I have never had a problem with WIU1.1 yet.

Please describe how you are patching the .iso as well as how your Wii is modded and what loader you are using?

sure, i'm using neogamma and open dvd as usual. When using wiu, it sais pick file to patch, i do that and pick ntsc. Then i patch update after that-then burn image to dvd-r. I am using the softmod for 4.2U. Any idea what i'm doing wrong?

Thx

I don't use Neogamma for disc backups (I am hardmodded as well as softmodded).

Somewhere in Neogamma 7 there might be a switch for "force NTSC". Have you tried that?

yes, it will force to ntsc, but it plays as black and wht as well. I tried w/ 3 different ones same thing. i mean it plays ok, but black and wht is just plain aweful for kids. Any ideas? Am I doing something wrong?

Thx

Don't know. What game are you having problems with? I'll see if I can duplicate the problem.

Some PAL games (ex. Pikmin 2) flat don't work on NTSC consoles.

Hi, 'Army men-soldiers of misfortune' (pal) is one. Question, it keeps stating in the WIU when i try to patch it, 'already patched to ntsc' but, the file is pal? I patch in anyway!

Thx a lot

OK, I burned a backup from my .iso.

It doesn't work through disc channel on my Wiikey.

It doesn't work with Neogamma R6.

It DOES WORK fine through USB loader.

My assumption is that this is one of those games that "doesn't work" with a region patch.

Neogamma has a USB loader.

I don't use it. There are several USB loaders out there Configurable USB loader (the one I use) and GX USB loader to name two.

You will need to read up on threads about putting .isos on a USB stick or HDD with WBFS Manager.
