Out of curiosity. I have a wiikey with wii firmware 3.2U. I can play all backup games. I got the USB loader (which plays games of my hard drive) to work perfectly and HBC (updated).

Should I upgrade to firmware 4.0? If so how do I do that?

Also if you suggest to just stay on 3.2U or upgrade to 4.0U then how do I add wads? My friend added wads for my but he is gone to the army and I haven't spoke with him in over a year.

I am adding links so you can see pics of my wii. The first pics shows you the first page of my wii. the second pic shows you the next page but there is two gaps in between two of my wads. How do I get rid of that space? Also how to I put the channels in order? I want all the megamans next to each other and marios etc..

Thanks for your help in advance

If it aint broke, don't fix it!

You can add wads using wad manager. Use homebrew channel to do this or install the wad manager channel (also a wad)

To move channels, you simply grab them with a+b and then you can drag them anywhere you want.

There's no real advantage to going to 4.0 other than sd loading and you are running your iso's off a HD not SD so I wouldn't worry about updating if all your stuff works fine right now.

Also, don't bump. You will get flamed for doing this.

Awesome the A+B works thanks

Ok I downlaoded wad manager 1.4 and i put the wadmanager file inside the wad folder and nothing happens. What do I do next?

ROOT>WAD>wadmanager file

Also can you play your emulators from the hard drive? Or it is only ISOS?

You don't just drop it on the sd and expect it to install itself. YOu have to run wadmanager to install a wad.

Place wadmanager inside the apps folder on your sd. You don't put wadmanager itself in the wad folder. That's where you put your actual wads. Once you place wadmanager in your apps folder you can run it from the homebrew channel.

thanks that worked.

Last question I am running usb loader 1.5 to play games off the hard drive. Can I play roms from that hard drive also? If so how?

And my usb loader loads perfect and sometimes when I am on the screen about to select a game it freezes and reboots to the HBC. I tried to reinstall and same thing. Any ideas?

I've found that configurable usb loader is the best one for me. Try that.

Thanks that worked.

Do you know if it is possible to run emulators of the hard drive?
