Help needed extracting Liteon key

Hi all,
I need some help, as i've just been banned from Xbox Live (Console Only). I would like to know how to extract my Liteon key.
As i would like to use this flashed drive in my next Xbox 360. Does anyone have a step by step guide please?

Not sure how you would use that. It looks like it might work. Does your laptop have any sata ports? If it doesn't then you *might* be able to partially take your laptop apart if the dvd rom in it uses a regular SATA port and not something custom to your manufacturer. In which case you could possibly use that to connect to the dvd rom and get the key.
I'm assuming you got the unit modded by someone else and didn't do it yourself right? So taking it to them would probably cost you money, but if it's less than that usb connector then it might be worth it if you don't want to go through the hassles of doing it yourself.

Cost me £40 for flashing! So will try myself now.
My laptop has no SATA ports. I don't want to take my laptop apart either. I think that Extractor just connects via USB, then it extracts the key from the drive?

What type of DVD drive do you have?
Edit- If you purchase a new XBOX 360, it will have a completely different key as each XBOX 360 has a unique DVDkey.

Since your console is banned, replacing the DVD drive won't help. If you are planning on purchasing a new XBOX 360 and using your flashed DVD drive, that won't work either. Each XBOX 360 has a unique DVDkey. If you purchase a new XBOX 360 you will need to dump/extract the key from it's DVD drive and flash it.
Currently, there are some Lite-ONs that are not dumpable right now.

Oh wow the part that you were banned completely slipped my mind while reading the post. Leerage is 100% correct. As for the new system, you should take the faceplate off and check if you got a Lite-ON drive... if you did then it's probably a new one. With the new ones it's completely hit-and-miss. Though I doubt you will be a able to flash it via USB if you have a laptop.

I knew i needed to extract the key for it 2 work in another 360. Sorry if i wasn't clear about it :(
Might just flash a new 360 then? Is that easier?

That's really your only option. You can't use your banned console's key on a different console. So that 360 is actually scrap for Xbox Live now. If you want to get on Live, you need a new, not banned, console. If you want to play your backups you will need to mod the new console.
What we're trying to tell you is that depending what you get you may not actually be able to dump the key, yet.
