I bought a software online to copy my wii games and i have no luck doing so.The software name is Easy Back Wizard,MagicIso.Although i purchae the software i don't have the full access it keep telling me to purchase the software to have full access.Any recommended software to help me to copy my disc? Thanks in advanced for any help.

If you don't have one of the 4 or so drives that can backup Wii discs, don't waste your money.

Start with this thread, and work your way backwards.

If you have the correct hardware (DVD-ROM), the software is free.

Kool7, you got scammed dude. You should read some guides on here before you go buying software that claims to make backups.

as dailun said, you can only backup a wii game if you have the correct dvd-rom drive to do so.

Also, even if you were able to backup a wii game, you can only play it on a modded system. Is your wii modded?

Thank you Kafluke for the info,also my wii is modded.My computer don't have a DVD-ROM,i have a DVD+RW in my computer.I knew about this site after i purchase the software.So i need to buy a DVD-ROM drive and i can use any software to copy the disc?

We don't talk about getting games online here.

If you want to make backups of your own games, you need one of a very specific family of DVD-ROM drives.

The short list:

* LG-8164b
* LG-8163b
* LG-8162b
* LG-8161b

The freeware programs Rawdump and Friidump can backup Wii original games using one of those drives ONLY. (I cannot state this enough).

See here for an alternate method that doesn't require a PC DVD-ROM
