Sorz im still trying to get my head around the jungleflasher guide, anyways here's my issue .. ive now got all the bits and bobs needed to flash my Liteon xbox 360 drive, ive just installed the pci card with the driver discs also ive installed the portl032 software and removed the relevant files from sys32.

1) The raid card I have is VIA VT6421. (Recommended card)

2) When its installed with the vt6421 drivers its name in device manager is VIA VT VT3249 .. VT3249??? WTH???

I guess what im asking is though the device name code isnt whats printed on the box will it still work in the same way?? or will this cause problems when flashing my 360 drive?? maybe its the card they sold me thats wrong?? if not is there a way of installing the correct drivers? maybe its me thats missing somthing?? any help would be great.

I had the same issue with mine.

At the end of the jungleflasher guide there is a blurb about this with a link to the proper drivers

You dont even need drivers. Uninstall the card in device manager, and install the port io drivers that came with Jungle Flasher. ALl should work then, just enable the card afterwards. Good luck.
