i have been playing mw2 offline on a different gamertag with out xbox live but on my main gamertag it says mw2 as one of my recent games. So i was wondering if i connect to xbox live and mw2 is in my recent games will this ban me?

There is a good chance that you can be banned. You should avoid playing games before release date even if you stay off live at the time you play it.

You should also make sure ABGX verifies with online data base that it is stealth. Games are not verified until release date or after.

try to play other recent games so this way the modern warfare 2 recent game won't appear on your main gamertag.

If you play games ealry, you risk banning. You do not know if its a verified rip and if its not, you will more than likely be banned.
