hi, im having some trouble with this game tales of vesperia, i burned the game into a DVD+R DL, and apparently it all went well until i tried it in my xbox 360, it read it as a DVD and just displayed a xbox 360 logo. i heard that this games requiere a certain firmware to work, i dont really know much about firmwares and stuff since i had my xbox360 flashed.
so if you can help me with anything i will gladly apreciate it, and sorry if my english isnt that good since im not native, thanx in advance.
Tales of Vesperia is either a wave 2 or wave 3 game depending on the version you have, so the firmware you have installed shouldn't cause the game not to play as long as it's reasonably up to date. When was your console flashed?
Is this the first time you've burned a game? Have you tried other backups on your console (either burned by you or by someone else)?
Your English is fine BTW. Better than a lot of native speakers. lol.

maybe you burned it wrong or something. have you burned games before?
ive burned about 4 or 5 games before and are fully playable, when i burned the tales game the process went as smooth as the ones i did before, so thats why im confused also.
the version that i downloaded only specified being ntsc/usa (the same as my console)

Bad burn perhaps? If you've burned games before and they worked, then that's the most likely thing IMO.
Do you run ISOs through abgx360 before burning them? You might want to try that just to check that there's not a problem with the ISO itself.
dude funksoulb, thank you for telling me about this abgx360, i had no idea there was this thing to check my ISOs, i runned it and the region of the games is PAL, not quite a funny joke if you ask me since the page i downloaded it from clrearly said it was ntsc.
anyways to all you guys i thank you, you were great help XD
