I bricked my wii.

I bricked my wii.

I started with a 3.4u untouched wii. I followed Larrylie's guide.
I installed the HBC then Bootmii as boot2. I could not figure out how to make a backup of my nand. when I downgraded to IOS15 the HBC flipped upside down. I continued through the guide to neogamma7 and after that step when the wii reset all I have is a blank screen.

Is there anything I can do to fix this?

I am completely confused now. when I plugged in the gamecube controller it booted to the screen where I could back up my nand. When I pressed reset it booted the regular start screen.

Hbc is still upside down.

do I just reinstall HBC or all of the iso and stuff that I changed?

do I always need the camecube controller in to boot?

was I supposed to do the directions in the tutorial after back up your nand or were those only for people upgrading from an older version?

One last post and I will wait for a reply.

I reinstalled HBC only and it is no longer upside down. I even loaded one of my backup games on gammaloader7 and it worked.

I am back to the black screen when I start it up. How do I get to bootmii or my main menu?

Put the Bootmii folder that was created when you installed it, back in the sd card, and power the Wii witht he SD card. Restore your NAND from there.

I dont believe i can restore my nand as I did not back it up.

I am unclear how to get the wii to boot in bootmii mode, How is that done? I accidently did it once.

How do I power the wii with the sd card?

i am making progress. My wii will launch if I take the sd card out.

do I need to reinstall bootmii?

if I restart my wii with the sd card in it should go to the bootmii menu correct?

You can download other people NAND backup, but make sure you download the ones with the same region as yours. Its the only last resort. You can find them on torrent sites.
Put it on your SD card and then restore using BootMii.

my wii is no longer bricked, if fact it never was. when I removed the sd card the wii booted normal.

How do I boot bootmii?

go to hombrew browser and hit home you will see the option bootmii

hero8765 mentioned in another thread in which I've responded that he has bootmii installed as boot2. If this is a true statement then your suggestion will not work.
