It doesn't look that great and a whipser max fan would most likely cool it just aswell. I would rather get an alienware computer case and mod it so an xbox will fit inside it.

That thing's been out over a year now, and though I think it's a decent idea, I expected them to have had another revision or two of the case. It's about 2 1/2 times the size of a stock 360, and is ugly as hell. I thought someone like Xecuter would've had replacement cases in different shapes/styles by now.

I was looking at a couple of videos of the whisper max fan set-up.Looks good but loud as hell.Alienware case mod would be pretty sick.

Yeah, something like this would be awesome:

Also, I saw this is in the llama forums:

I've never seen alienware on an xbox before, I can't see if it is a sticker or not though.

I have one although I went down the water cooling route "which is what this case is really for" one problem you will have is there is a problem with the rf board communicating with wireless controller http://www.lian-li.com/v2/tw/phpBB/viewf...36be4b5f31456a4
I eventually solved this with adding an old style rf board and adding the fix that lian li sent out to owners that requested one see link. It's been a pain but now my temps never go above 30oc and silent it's a one of a kind and look v cool with the uv tubes etc.
Another plus is ofcourse I'm RROD free! I'll post some pics later :O)

I had considered buying one of these when I saw them awhile ago, but it seemed like a waste of cash...I'm tempted to buy some self-taping screws (to line up the motherboard screw-holes) and a cheap PC case, stuff it full of fans and see what happens.

who did it? Probably 12V fan. I do it on every reflow. Yeah it's loud but the thing stays cool.
