when I play pal games on my NTSC console the screen is in black and white and it looks like there is a screen in front of the video.

can this be fixed?

On one hand, if you are booting games directly from the disc channel, you need to patch the ISO (PAL to NTSC) using WiU or a similar application. On the other, if you are using Neogamma or other backup launcher you need to enable the option Force NTSC.
