ok i try to get my lite-on key of my drive with ck3 in jungler flasher but it said bad serial...so i try to go in iprep and get it in dosflash ...but the drive brick on me(as in the tray won't open).....so i can still get into the drive in vector mode on Jungler Flasher but yeah it's brick.....so can i still get the key in vendor mode?.... and if not can i use Infectus chip to get the key off the motherboard?

You must not speak english, or just really have bad grammar. Just because the drive doesn't eject doesn't always mean that its bricked. Google "fixing bricked lite-on drive". I think a lot of people don't use Google's advantages. Beyond that point, just because your getting bad serial doesn't mean anything. We need more information.


Like:

What version of windows?
What drive rev?
What are you using to get the key?
Ect. ect.

Also, the infectus chip cannot rip a key off a lite-on drive AFAIK.
It is used to rip the serial keys and such off the mobo. You have to have the working key to do anything, so I doubt the chip gets the key.


Just post some more info. We can probably help you with more information.

myfault i'm american i was typing before thinking....but, you said just because my tray won't open doesn't mean i can't get the cd key?....and heres some info

What version of windows? Windows Vista 32bit
What drive rev? Lite-On DG-16D2S FW Ver:74850C
What are you using to get the key? SATA IDE PCI Card VIA VT6421A And Connectivity Kit v3 with USB Probe
