Hey all. I've come here cause I'm really stumped with this problem I'm having.
I'm pretty much aware that most Wii's have problems with their games and stuff after the 4.2U update, and HBC(HomeBrew Channel) usually gets deleted after the update for most Wiis. Mine, miraculously, has the HBC kept eventhough after updating.
So I decided: what the heck, if I can update and still have the HBC and run my games as per normal through Gecko or even through Disc Channel, shouldn't I update?
That's when I noticed I'd done a really huge mistake.
Before updating to 4.2U, Twilight Princess and a few other games couldn't work, whereas SSBB(Super Smash Bros. Brawl), Raving Rabbids TV Party and a few others could work.
But after updating to 4.2U, Twilight Princess and the few other games started to run perfectly, and on the other hand, Raving Rabbids TV Party, SSBB and my newly bought Wii Fit doesn't seem to want to work at all.
Everytime I turn on the Wii with the discs inside, it either gives me this message:
"The Wii system files are corrupted. Please check the manual..." and so on.
OR
"An error has occured. Eject the disc and refer to the Wii instruction manual..." and so on.
Besides that, I've tried turning on the Wii WITHOUT the disc inside first, then inserting the disc after I've entered Gecko OS 1.93, then launching the game.
Usually, Gecko would start loading then show the Game title as: ROZ43R or something like that.
But this time, it just stops at "loading/initializing disc".
I've tried googling all these things up but to no avail, and am really stumped. Can anyone help me out here?
