Now take this with a grain of salt but while I was picking up my Xbox from a friend who was going to flash my firmware he gave me some info. Now I'm not too sure of everything he told me because I'm not that informed about the modding/burning of Xbox's and games. Apparently there is a select group of people who have access to ABGX's database for patching iso files. Those group of people are who upload the info for the games to patch themselves by running through the ABGX software. From what I hear it's pretty hard to get access to this database, but it's been getting easier as the modding scene is getting larger. Someone uploaded a copy of Borderlands to this database and used the name "Major Nelson" as the scriber. This was thought of as a joke at first, but maybe a Microsoft employee gained access to this database and used it to put a file on the stealth check for Borderlands. When your Xbox updated a few weeks ago that update let your Xbox see this file and flag you. Now this may be just me talking crazy, but who knows. Like I said "Take this with a grain of salt".

My brother never played Borderlands (flashed his 360 a few weeks ago) and got banned this weekend.
My sons and nephew played borderlands and they are still on live.
You could have posted this in 1 of the other numerous BAN threads that have already been started. It will probably be closed within the end of the day.
