Can't get Hitachi to load 1.51

I get through all the steps, and when I select load ixtreme it stops and says firmware faild MD5 hash check, I tried re download the firmware pack and even tried a few different versions of JF. The f/w on the hitachi is stock ATM but it won't read original discs nor will it flash correctly.

directly from ixtreme, I have used this f/w pack before with other drives with no issue
