This is topic spurring off from my USB thread. When I get into PreLoader it states at the bottom that an important update is available. Last time I tried to update the Wii seem to have locked up. I did the unmentionable and turned off the Wii and BRICK! Does this update take along time? Should I do it?

I'm not sure if that's a bug or not. I have tried that once, and it was stuck at downloading changelog. I held down the power button to shut down. The system booted just fine afterwards.
