Hello!

I've had a flashed xbox 360 almost 9/10 months?... I recently got my hands on a copy of MW2 and completed the single player campaign with my ethernet cable unplugged.

I have just been told that my uncle has been console banned, and i was wondering, on tuesday im going to reconnect my Ethernet cable, will i also be banned when i do this? If so, would waiting for a liteon firmware update before connecting my ethernet cable keep me from being ban free when i do eventually connect my ethernet cable

Thanks alot

x

That doesn't make it safe to do. It just means that you've got away with it so far.

That means nothing other than you've been lucky (just like me).

Why would it matter if there was a disk in the tray? Just curious...

Because from what I've read, some of the challenge/response checks that MS do can be done if the disc is just in the drive when you're connected to Live. You don't have to be playing the game.
