You can just reinstall it using bootmii
go to the, how to: install the homebrew channel section on the bottom of the page, of the update site you posted

I've actually used Smash Stack, Indiana Pwns, and BannerBomb but i get the following message all the time
HackMii installer v0.6 (c)2008,2009 Team Twiizers
This installer can NOT continue!
There is no known vulnerable IOS installed on this Wii.
Please note that we will not use a fakesigned IOS due to security reasons.
Look for an updated version at:

If this is the latest version... well, suck it.

Download this file. Install it using WAD Manager. Then, proceed with Hackmii installation.

I suppose you can. Although that would be the first thing you need to do before you can even run the Hackmii installer. Reading at your initial post just made me realize that you are starting from scratch.

looks like it. but i tried even the 4.2 guide and nothing. I can't seem to make ends meet. i have not modded this thing for a while so i am a bit rusty.

What do you mean exactly? Have you tried restoring the trucha bug at all?
