I have a softmodded system, and don't know much about hardmods. Perhaps, an update of your chip would fix the problem?

There is no harm in going to 4.1. Use Waninkoko's Firmware Updater 4.1. Then, follow larry's guide.

If you are on 4.0, and followed larry's guide then you should have Neogamma 4 and cIOS38 Rev14. When using Neogamma, what happens?

When i start game in NeoGamma I see a quick green flash and then just a black screen. Disk quits spinning after that have to eject and power cycle wii.

Older backups spin in drive but never show up in regular channel. They stop spinning after a few mins.

Did the upgrade to 4.1u and installed all DOP-IOS listed. Still getting mixed results with games. "Getting the disc could not be read. please refer to the Wii operations manual for details"

On 3 games. 1 Game Force Unleashed worked before 4.1 upgrade but know I get that error after trying to start in reg channel. Confirmed I am using NeoGamma R7, but it seems to be messed up at this point, nothing play in NeoGamma since update. I didnt do the "IOS60Patched:" section. Guide says only need in currently running 4.0 or above. Assume 4.1 upgrade would do automatically.

Any suggestions please??

Assuming you followed the guide down to the letter, it could be an issue with the type of media you are using. Also, are you positive that you are using Neogamma 7 with Rev14? This information is displayed in Neogamma at the bottom.

Hi I don't know if you can help but I'm getting #002 Error and I've tried using the Gamma Fix 002 loader and it's still coming up with the same error. I think it maybe due to my firmware (3.1) and cios 36 rev 5, would changing either of these make a difference to the problem.

I would prefer to not have to upgrade the firmware but will if neccessary.

Cheers
