hi
i have been given a nds phat but the top screen is broken.
does any one know where a decent place to get a top screen from and i good step by step guide on how to do it?
also the same for the case which is battered and could do with replacing.
i can find my lite but not phat

i went to deal extreme this morning but they were out of stock and said they were expected feb 2009!!!! so i cant see them getting any soon.

I believe you, but none of the DS Phat shells showed as being out of stock.
That being said, dealextreme's website is notoriously bad about showing inventory status.
There are several for sale on eBay.

It looks easy from the guides... buy 2 screens because you will break the ribbon on your first attempt.

No you won't, on a PHAT the screen only has a small ribbon, on a lite the screen is attached to the ribbon (hence easy to damage)
Changing the case - always use the original screws as the new case screws heads, strip very easily
