Hey guys just wondering about this guy I stumbled on in craigslist. He's from LA and says he can fix an xbl banned console. Now I don't live in cali so I sure as hell aren't going to send him my console and 100 bucks, but is there any truth to this or is it a scam. I mean if he can do it then there has to be others right? Got banned yesterday, probably from using halo: odst, have no desire or the cash to buy another 360. BTW have you seen all the modded consoles listed on craisglist? I hope they let people know that they are banned systems otherwise that's bad karma.

why would it be a scam?
it is all over the net, you can unban it but you need another serial id off a working xbox. but its not popular as you need to buy another one, if your last console werent banned but had rrod and u still have it around u could use that.
