Functions of HDD from Banned 360?

So my console has been banned and now I am getting an unbanned Elite console without a HDD.

If I happen to remove my HDD from the banned console, will my profile and game saves be ok? Will I get banned again when I put in the HDD?

I heard that your game save gets corrupted if you access it after the ban. Is that true? Right after I got banned I loaded a game save in GTA IV but I did not save anything.

You have to go on the unbanned xbox and recover your gamertag, then it will work.

I don't understand why people cannot use their hd after being banned.

I just got banned today and my hard drive still works and nothing has changed except I can't play games in multiplayer. Is this normal? I means its good that I still have every function on my banned xbox including the HD but just want to know how this is possible when what im hearing is if you get banned ur HD corrupts and you cannot use hard drive function on ur banned xbox
