I just drove by a small gamestop store that never gets crouds outside...it looked like the circus, minus the animals. Tents, face-painted fans, and enough PSPs to make a supercomputer with! I can't imagine that this store will get enough copies to satify half of these fans.
They should start printing the "Game of the Year" Edition now...

absolutely agree with the game of the year title...its pretty cold outside and i drove to wal-mart passing gamestop and fans are in the cold waiting for this game. the line starts in the gamestop and strenches around the corner lol theres tons of people picking up this game i just hope the MW2 servers are stable and i hope that theres no meltdowns

I have a feeling that CODMW2 servers are going to be running very slowly in the morning...if they don't just crash.

Call of Duty doesn't have servers. Games/Public matches are hosted by players. Thus the servers should be perfectly fine. The only thing that might get messed up is the matchmaking, though I doubt that will happen. They most likely prepared for this.

The gamestop in my area had plenty for everyone. Everyone that came got a copy and they had a lot left over.
PS3...it only does everything(that Sony allows it to)

Anyone who paid £45 for this game are gonna be a bit disappointed, apparently Tesco and a few other supermarkets are planning to sell this game at a highly reduced price of £26 soon.
idk about anyone else but I'd rather wait a few weeks and save £20 than get it right now.

They already have. Asda, Sainsburys and Morrisons sell MW2 for £26

Our Gamestop got Zero extras. Only Preorders arived. I preordered. I live in Red Neck Hillbilly teritory. 3 people is considered a long line.

Bloody Hell, Nin. That's only $39 US. Do those places have online? If it's going to be that cheap, I may as well just get it there and suffer through the 1-2 weeks of waiting.

They don't deliver outside of the UK, and most are already sold out. Asda's the UK subsidiary of Walmart but i wouldn't know if they are selling it as aggressively there than here.

My local sainsburys was selling it for the steal at £26 went this morning and was lucky to get a copy as they only had 200 of each ps3 and xbox versions,when i came out the door the queue was still massive,felt sorry knowing that they wernt going to get it there lol.

Bah 3 local supermarkets and all sold out!
Have Asda which is selling at £32 ends Sunday, Morrisons at £27 and Sainsburys at £26.
Sainsburys may have stock tomorrow hopefully, just hope I get there in time before they run out again

double post but just to say I got my copy! £26 from Sainsburys.
rang them to make sure they had restocked, told me they got 70 copies for each format just 1 hour ago but were selling fast. Had to goto customer service desk to get mine as it looked as if they were keeping them all there, if they were there were only 7 left for the PS3 and 15 for xbox. Also only 1 per customer
SO tip for anyone trying to get theirs, go straight to the customer service desk first unless your store have a dedicated media stand in store.

Just think of all the kids that waited outside in tents all night, just to spend $60 or more on the game!
