As per the topic, I've followed the tutorial for using Tversity with the 360 for media streaming, but most of my files are avi (xvid) and when not connected to live I'm prompted to download the media update. I thought this was what Tversity helped to avoid. Am I incorrect, or is there some setting I haven't done properly yet?

console banned? Just set the decoder to always decode. I had to do this for steaming to work on my banned box.

I have installed those codecs, and have tversity running on my PC, with the option to transcode all media selected, yet every time I try to run it the 360 still prompts me to update. Any other ideas?
