PSP is not turning on after changing theme

Hi everybody.
My son's psp is not working no more. It happen when he was changing his theme/ wallpaper. After pressing <apply> on desired theme psp froze and turned itself off.
Now when you press turn on (power light is green for a while) screen just shows date, time and battery bar for about 10 seconds and PSP turns off.
It's PSP 2001 with 3.11 customware.
Please could you help in this matter.

Zincha, if it goes on, an you can actually see stuff(Time Menu Battery bar). Then it probably isn't a brick. But I would still Reinstall Firmware if you have that chance. Are you able to boot to recovery mode?(Holding R when turing on system I believe).If so you can probably go into usb mode, from there an reinstall the firmware.

I put back new firmware 5.00. Now I want downgrade back :) I did it once, just can't rememeber the webpage with easy steps to it...I have pandora battery. I used Despertar creator... I think.
Can somebody could give a good link? Plz.
