writing this off the top of my head as I no longer use a pc but
Right click on my computer and select manage
Select device manager
Go down to com/serial ports(name may be slightly different)
select prolific usb/serial adapter, right click and go properties, select advanced and see what comport its using/or change comport to either 1,2,3 or 4
