Hi i am looking to install homebrew on my wii which is system 2.1e I have tried using the twilight princess hack but during installation it tells me i have a bad hash. Also the system will not update as i discovered accidentally is this a good thing or a bad thing?

Use a retail game disc that has a 3.X or higher system update on it. HERE is a list of games and what update it has on it. After you update go to the softmod guide in my sig and follow it.
