So my 360 boots, then the screen freezes at the xbox logo and it glitches. Last time I signed into live(about a week ago, installed the new update), I was not banned. I plan on using one of my backup consoles(unmodded) until(if) the new FW comes out.

My question is this:
If I take my hd from the old (RROD) console, and put it into my new console, is it possible for ms to just ban my new console since the last time I connected, it was modded?

If so, I may just create a new gamertag and start from scratch.

id play it safe and start over thats what i intend to do with my replacement when the new firmware comes out as i want to keep the risk as minimal as possible.

ye but im gonna be using another modded console so dont wanna risk it as im sure M$ will make a note of everyones GT and keep tags on em.

Even if you change GT, MS is smart enough to track it by your address too so they can tag 2 GTs being with the same person who was banned before.
