Last week Microsoft updated the Zune HD firmware to version 4.3 bringing along with it the ability to play 3D games. Six games are now available for download in the Zune Marketplace, all of which are free. There is an ad at the start-up of each game. First they release a working version of windows, now they are giving away free games...Microsoft has come a long way in a very short time.

It would be nice if we could develop our own apps for the Zune HD. However, this is very unlikely to come from Microsoft even with the hits they've had recently.

I'm not convinced of this yet...just because it isn't overheating, that does not mean that their cheap parts won't start on fire when their recycled capacitors start leaking...
