Hey guys, i'm kinda new but i was finnaly able to convert an xvid with AC3 audio to DVD. I was having a horrible time getting AC3 to work, I would get static on the final mix, etc. I read somewhere that converting the AC3 to different format might fix the problem. So I decided to convert to mp2.

Here is my steps: Using VirtualDubMod i extracted the audio, i used BeSweetGUI to convert the AC3 to MP2. I then used Main Concept encoder and used the new audio track as the audio and the original video and encoded them to a DVD compliant MPG file. I then used TMPGEnc author to make some DVD files for me. The files where larger then a DVD so i took them into DVD shrink and shrunk them down to fit a DVD.

I don't know if i missed a step in BeSweet or something. The original audio sounds pretty good or I dunno if I'm going about this the wrong way. Anyone have any ideas?
