more specifically the blu ray drive. i started having problems a month or so back, started getting DRE on my 2007 80gb BC ps3. it would act weird on batman AA, freezing, etc. tried a new batman and other games... still messes up. sometimes it will see the disc on xmb but never plays more than 5-10 min before it freezes. i get the infamous 80010514 error code. i guessed the lense is fried but i dont wanna waste $80 for a new hong kong laser if it is another part of the drive thats messed.

ive cleaned the lense twice and still get the same problems. when it freezes and i hold reset the light keeps blinking and sometimes i have to hit eject too to get it to reset and it does the multiple beeps. sometimes it takes forever to eject too. the drive makes sounds like its struggling to seek or something as well.

btw it plays games off the HDD fine, i even have MAG beta and it works great. socom works too as long as it makes it past the disc check at the start which it does 7/10 times or so.
