Nope confirmed. I read it on pothsprojects in their game releases. I would assume abgx would tell us more. Topic of irc channel:

(Wave 5, contains SystemUpdate 8507)
L4D2 (CONFIRMED - Wave 5, contains SystemUpdate 8507)

Don't say this as no one knows. LT is in the works so we'll see what happens then. I would assume ABGX will need updated again.

LoL ... This should be more like wave 4.5 as the PFI matches wave 4 data but the video partition CRC is different (obviously because of the update).

Like I said, I would assume this will be an abgx fix and not related to LT since LT is not going to be doing any stealth checks.

If this is true then looks like LT is going to be delayed further :(

I would doubt it would matter. This would be more of a ABGX fix than firmware. LT is not supposed to be doing any stealth checks.

yep left for dead 2 is wave 5 but works fine if you covert it to wave 3 if you have a banned console or offline one.

You do not need to convert it to wave 3. Just use the activate.iso. I am not sure if 1.6.1 plays it but will assume it does.

Yea but if you got a banned or a offline console only its just as easy to covert it to wave 3 then wasting a dual layer on a activate.iso takes me like 20secs to covert it to wave 3.

Where are you reading that iXtreme LT won't do any stealth checks?

When C4E said LT is going to be identical to original firmware does that mean it wont matter what wave games are anymore?

If MS wants to interupt modding then all they have to do is continually release new games with new WAVES on them. even if these new waves do not do anything they could use it soley for the purpose of interupting piracy. if we have to make new FW every few weeks then alot of people that do not flash their own consoles will just stop priating if they have to spend just as much money on flashes as they do on games.

If you send me questions on Live about modding or anything related i will block you. Dont be an idiot.

Or the newer firmwares could just ignore video partition data.

$38 on new discs -- Check
$15 on burn after burn that showed as a DVD -- Check
$11 on new laser -- Check
$28 on new multimeter -- Check

yes i wouldnt mind that cause i know how to use ABGX and stealth correctly. but of course there are 100000 of other people that done bother to do things the correct way and blame the FW team for getting them banned when its their own faults. i think it would be a good idea cause if you arent smart enough to be thurough when doing this stuff then you shouldnt be doing it and can be banned for all i care. less Dbags on live to deal with :)

Has anyone got a L4D2 scene release to work? Particularly on a Sammy 1.51?

I burned a copy straight off, and the 360 shows it as a Mixed Media Disc. Then I ran it though the 360WavePatcher, and it patched fine, but when I run it through abgx360 it says:

ERROR: The root sector is blank!
